Jessie Kaufman (Spruce Grove, AB) won 5-2 over Holly Whyte (Grande Prairie, AB) in the Final of the Avonair Cash Spiel, held October 4 - 6, 2013 at the Avonair Curling Club in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kaufman won 6-2 over Lisa Johnson (Spruce Grove, AB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Avonair Cash Spiel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-3 over Bobbie Sauder (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Avonair Cash Spiel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;
 
Kaufman finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaufman defeated Kelly Erickson (Edmonton, AB) 8-7, then won 7-0 against Chana Martineau (Edmonton, AB) and 8-2 against Tomoko Takeda (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Avonair Cash Spiel Championship title, Kaufman earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 67th place overall with 10.288 total points. Kaufman ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
