Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) qualified for the 2013 Shamrock Shotgun playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Jessie Kaufman (Spruce Grove, AB). of the 2013 Shamrock Shotgun in Edmonton, Alberta;

Barber finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barber lost 8-4 to Alberta's Holly Whyte, then responded with a 10-2 win over Kaufman. Barber won 6-4 against Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Barber earned 1.125 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Shamrock Shotgun, moving up 26 spots the World Ranking Standings into 132nd place overall with 2.813 total points. Barber ranks 82nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.375 points earned so far this season.
