To advance to the championship game, Kaufman won 4-3 over Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2013 Shamrock Shotgun in Edmonton, Alberta; Jessie Kaufman (Spruce Grove, AB) qualified for the 2013 Shamrock Shotgun playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). of the 2013 Shamrock Shotgun in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Kaufman finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaufman defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 5-4, then went on to lose 10-2 against Barber. Kaufman responded with a 8-5 win over Alberta's Holly Whyte in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Shamrock Shotgun, Kaufman take home 2.625 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 66th place overall with 12.913 total points.
