Sweeting finished 8-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sweeting defeated Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, Y/NWT) 7-5, then won 8-6 against Kesa Van Osch (Victoria, BC). Sweeting went on to lose 8-6 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Sweeting responded with a 5-4 win over Heather Smith (Halifax, NS). Sweeting won 9-8 against Andrea Kelly (Oromocto, NB). Sweeting went on to lose 10-5 against Homan. Sweeting responded with a 8-5 win over Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI). Sweeting won 9-5 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL). Sweeting went on to lose 7-5 against Alli Flaxey (Listowel, ON). Sweeting responded with a 10-3 win over Allison Ross (Montreal, QC). Sweeting won 7-4 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Sweeting take home 35.000 world rankings points. Sweeting move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 30 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 10th overall with 210.745 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Sweeting ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 143.840 points earned so far this season.
