Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) won 4-3 over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in the Final of the Baden Masters, held August 30 - September 1, 2013 in Baden, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 8-1 over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2013 Baden Masters in Baden, Switzerland; and won 7-2 over Alexander Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Baden Masters in Baden, Switzerland;
 
Gushue finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Johnny Jahr (Fuessen, GER) 8-4, then won 5-1 against Stefan Haesler (Berne, SUI) and 6-4 against Oskar Eriksson (Lit, SWE). Gushue won 6-5 against Peter de Cruz (Geneva, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Baden Masters Championship title, Gushue earned 24.360 world rankings points along with the $12,469CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 171.985 total points. Gushue ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.360 points earned so far this season.
