David Sik (Prague, CZE) qualified for the 2013 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-2 against Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO). of the 2013 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;

Sik finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sik defeated Mikkel Krause (Hvidovre, DEN) 6-4, then won 4-2 against Johnny Jahr (Fuessen, GER). Sik went on to lose 5-3 against Logan Gray (Stirling, SCO). Sik responded with a 8-5 win over Switzerland's Andre Neuenschwander. Sik won 8-2 against Mario Freiberger (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
