David Edwards (Aberdeen, SCO) won 9-3 over Ross McCleary (Kinross, SCO) in the Final of the Edinburgh International, held November 8 - 10, 2013 at the Murrayfield Curling Club in Edinburgh, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Edwards won 5-1 over Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2013 Edinburgh International in Edinburgh, Scotland, Scotland; and won 5-4 over Frazer Hare (Stranraer, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Edinburgh International in Edinburgh, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Edwards finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edwards defeated Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT) 7-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against David Sik (Prague, CZE). Edwards responded with a 6-2 win over Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO). Edwards won 4-3 against Markus Hoiberg (Oppdal, NOR), then won 12-1 against McCleary in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Edinburgh International Championship title, Edwards earned 7.350 world rankings points along with the $6,727CDN first prize cheque, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 79th place overall with 18.361 total points. Edwards ranks 69th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.350 points earned so far this season.
