To advance to the championship game, Eriksson won 6-4 over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2014 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland; and won 5-4 over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland;
 
Eriksson finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eriksson defeated Moray Combe (Dumfernline, SCO) 10-2, then went on to lose 7-3 against Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO). Eriksson responded with a 8-6 win over Artur Ali (Moscow, RUS). Eriksson won 6-1 against Warwick Smith (Perth, SCO), then won 4-3 against David Edwards (Aberdeen, SCO) and 7-6 against Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
