5-4 to Michelle Gribi (Biel, SUI), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Ildiko Szekeres (Budapest, HUN) where Vevers responded with a 7-1 win over Corina Mani (Bern, SUI). Vevers won 8-2 against Veronica Zappone (Trentino, ITA), then won 5-3 against Olga Zharkova (Kaliningrad, RUS) and 6-3 against Hannah Fleming (Stirling, SCO). Vevers went on to lose 6-5 against Gribi in their final qualifying round match.
 
Vevers earned 2.384 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 60th place overall with 13.077 total points. Vevers ranks 64th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.384 points earned so far this season.
