Ott finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ott defeated Veronica Zappone (Trentino, ITA) 9-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against Kai Tsuchiya (Miyota, JPN). Ott responded with a 4-3 win over Olga Zharkova (Kaliningrad, RUS). Ott won 8-2 against Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, GER), then won 9-4 against Tsuchiya in their final qualifying round match.
