To advance to the championship game, Bitz won 5-4 over Kevin Marsh (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2014 Goldline Sask Players' Championship in Wadena, Saskatchewan; and won 5-0 over Darren Camm (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Goldline Sask Players' Championship in Wadena, Saskatchewan;
 
Bitz finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bitz lost 7-2 to Mike Armstrong (Saskatoon, SK), droppimg another game, 7-2 to Justin Mihalicz (Regina, SK) where Bitz responded with a 4-2 win over William Coutts (Saskatoon, SK). Bitz won 8-2 against Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Goldline Sask Players' Championship Championship title, Bitz earned 5.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 37.740 total points. Bitz ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.815 points earned so far this season.
