Scheidegger finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger lost 9-7 to Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB), droppimg another game, 9-2 to Deanne Nichol (Peace River, AB) where Scheidegger responded with a 6-4 win over Michelle Englot (Regina, SK). Scheidegger won 6-3 against EunJung Kim (GyeongBuk, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Scheidegger earned 8.250 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 35th place overall with 52.275 total points. Scheidegger ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.630 points earned so far this season.
