Tirinzoni finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Deanne Nichol (Peace River, AB) 9-2, then won 8-5 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) and 6-5 against Sweeting in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 19.800 world rankings points along with the $16,000CDN first prize cheque. Tirinzoni move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 14.8 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 10th overall with 221.726 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Tirinzoni ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 112.565 points earned so far this season.
