Kurt Balderston (Grande Prairie, AB) won 6-1 over Kerry Moore (Grande Prairie, AB) in the Final of the Stonebridge Hotel Curling Classic - Competitive, held October 25 - 27, 2013 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Balderston won 10-1 over Mark Pillsworth (Grande Prairie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Stonebridge Hotel Curling Classic - Competitive in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 8-0 over Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Balderston finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Balderston defeated Cliff Kostiuk (Grande Prairie, AB) 6-2, then won 8-3 against Scott Webb (Peace River, AB) and 5-1 against Graham Powell (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Stonebridge Hotel Curling Classic - Competitive Championship title, Balderston earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 11 of the event schedule, Balderston did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Balderston ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
