Puustinen won 7-5 against Alina Pavlyuchik (Minsk, BLR), then won 6-5 against Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastian, ESP) and 9-1 against Elzbieta Ran (Katowice, POL). Puustinen went on to lose 10-7 against Anna Fowler (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.
