Small finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Small defeated Elaine Laurin (Grande Prairie, AB) 6-0, then went on to lose 8-7 against Mark Luckwell (Grande Prairie, AB). Small responded with a 7-6 win over Bob Cooper (Fort St John, BC). Small won 7-3 against Kayla Skrlik (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
