Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-2 over Michelle Montford (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Championships, held November 29 - December 1, 2013 in Beausejour, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Brown won 7-1 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 MCT Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba; and won 7-2 over Manitoba's Kate Cameron in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 MCT Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba;

Brown finished 2-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Terry Ursel (Arden, MB) 7-5, then went on to lose 8-3 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, Manitoba , MB). Brown lost 6-4 to Montford where Brown responded with a 6-4 win over Meghan Armit (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the MCT Championships Championship title, Brown earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $1,880CDN first prize cheque, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 89th place overall with 9.198 total points. Brown ranks 65th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.200 points earned so far this season.
