Smith responded with a 7-4 win over Leslie Noye (Alberton, PEI). Smith won 7-3 against Justin Campbell (Summerside, PEI). Smith went on to lose 8-1 against Matthew MacLean (Cornwall, PEI). Smith responded with a 1-0 win over Noye in their final qualifying round match.
