Reid won 10-2 against Nick Parker (New Westminster, BC), then won 7-3 against Cody Tanaka (Langley, BC). Reid went on to lose 8-7 against Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Reid responded with a 7-1 win over Brendan Cliff (Vernon, BC). Reid went on to lose 10-5 against de Jong in their final qualifying round match.
