Comeau won 13-4 against Daniel Prest (Fredericton, NB). Comeau went on to lose 8-5 against Watts. Comeau responded with a 8-1 win over Jack Smeltzer-McCausland (Fredericton, NB). Comeau won 8-2 against Watts in their final qualifying round match.
