Watts finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Watts defeated Carter Small (Fredericton, NB) 10-3, then won 6-3 against Daniel Prest (Fredericton, NB). Watts went on to lose 6-5 against Comeau. Watts responded with a 8-5 win over Small. Watts won 8-5 against Comeau, then won 9-2 against Prest. Watts went on to lose 8-2 against Comeau in their final qualifying round match.
