In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Tyler Grumpelt (Brandon, MB) 8-1, then won 10-4 against Sean Davidson (Portage la Prairie, MB) and 9-2 against Myles Hicks (The Pas, MB). Dunstone won 8-4 against Austin Mustard (Portage la Prairie, MB), then won 5-3 against Ty Dilello (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-3 against Calvert. Dunstone won 7-1 against JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
