In their opening game, Lemay defeated Francois Gagne (Montreal, PQ) 7-3, then won 7-4 against Serge Reid (Kenogami, PQ) and 8-4 against Alexandre Ferland (Kenogami, PQ). Lemay won 8-5 against Robert Desjardins (Baie d'Urfe, PQ), then won 8-6 against Denis Robichaud (Aurele, PQ). Lemay went on to lose 10-2 against Martin Ferland (Trois-Rivieres, PQ). Lemay responded with a 8-7 win over Steeve Gagnon (Rosemere, PQ). Lemay went on to lose 6-3 against Michael Fournier (Riverbend, PQ). Lemay responded with a 6-1 win over Menard in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Tankard, Lemay take home 3.850 world rankings points, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 79th place overall with 20.850 total points. Lemay ranks 76th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.225 points earned so far this season.
