Chris Bond (Seattle, WA) finished 1-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bond lost 8-5 to Kent Beadle (St. Paul, MN), droppimg another game, 10-6 to Owen Sampson (Fargo, ND) where Bond responded with a 8-6 win over Mark Willmert (St. Paul, MN). Bond went on to lose 11-9 against Beadle in their final qualifying round match.
