Lautner went on to lose 6-3 against Tyler Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Lautner lost 5-4 to Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) where Lautner responded with a 4-2 win over Ryan McCrady (Ottawa, ON). Lautner won 7-2 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
