Cory Christensen (Duluth, MN) won 8-7 over Sarah Anderson (Broomall, PA) in the Final of the USA Junior Women's Championship, held January 25 - February 1, 2014 in Seattle, Washington.
 
Christensen finished 8-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christensen defeated Courtney Osbakken (Two Harbors, MN) 11-1, then won 10-4 against Kaitlin Fowler (Fairbanks, AK) and 11-6 against Jenna Haag (Milton, WI). Christensen won 10-3 against Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND). Christensen went on to lose 9-6 against Anderson. Christensen responded with a 9-5 win over Shelby Sweet (Everett, WA). Christensen won 10-2 against Melissa Runing (Mankato, MN), then won 7-4 against Christine McMakin (North Potomac, MD) and 7-4 against Sidney Schroeder (Midland, MI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the USA Junior Women's Championship Championship title, Christensen earned 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 26.250 total points. Christensen ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.250 points earned so far this season.
