After advancing directly to the championship game, Konstantin Kampf (Fuessen, GER) lost 7-6 to Johnny Jahr (Fuessen, GER) in the Final of the German Championships, held January 17 - 19, 2014 in Hamburgh, Germany.
 
Kampf finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kampf lost 6-5 to Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER), then responded with a 10-4 win over Marc Muskatewitz (Baden Hills, GER). Kampf went on to lose 6-4 against Jahr. Kampf responded with a 8-4 win over Baumann. Kampf won 9-2 against Muskatewitz, then won 9-7 against Jahr in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the German Championships, Kampf take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 44 spots the World Ranking Standings into 165th place overall with 5.787 total points. Kampf ranks 151st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.775 points earned so far this season.
