After advancing directly to the championship game, Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, NONT) lost 9-4 to Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, NONT) in the Final of the Travelers Northern Ontario Tankard, held February 5 - 9, 2014 in Timmins, Ontario.

Adams Jr. finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams Jr. defeated Mike Jakubo (Sudbury, NONT) 8-5, then won 8-5 against Currie and 8-7 against Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, ON). Adams Jr. won 6-4 against Dan Lemieux (Sault Ste Marie, ON), then won 6-4 against Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, ON) and 5-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON). Adams Jr. went on to lose 7-6 against Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Travelers Northern Ontario Tankard, Adams Jr. take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 96 spots the World Ranking Standings into 216th place overall with 3.349 total points. Adams Jr. ranks 171st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
