Eddie MacKenzie (Charlottetown, PEI) won 6-4 over Jamie Newson (Charlottetown, PEI) in the Final of the PEI Tankard, held February 5 - 9, 2014 in Montague, Prince Edward Island.
 
MacKenzie finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacKenzie defeated Kyle Stevenson (Charlottetown, PEI) 8-3, then won 9-8 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI) and 3-2 against Blair Jay (Charlottetown, PEI). MacKenzie went on to lose 8-4 against Newson. MacKenzie responded with a 6-2 win over Robert Campbell (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the PEI Tankard Championship title, MacKenzie earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 41 spots the World Ranking Standings into 126th place overall with 9.875 total points. MacKenzie ranks 144th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.000 points earned so far this season.
