Mjoen responded with a 9-8 win over Jake Vukich (Seattle, USA). Mjoen won 10-9 against Fredrik Nyman (Harnosand, SWE). Mjoen went on to lose 4-3 against Amos Mosaner (Trento, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mjoen earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the World Junior Championships, moving up 333 spots the World Ranking Standings into 203rd place overall with 4.000 total points. Mjoen ranks 150th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.000 points earned so far this season.
