Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) qualified for the 2015 Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). of the 2015 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Gushue finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue lost 8-2 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 7-2 win over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Gushue won 6-4 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE), then won 5-4 against Bottcher. Gushue went on to lose 6-4 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gushue earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Players' Championship, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Gushue ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 190.950 points earned so far this season.
