Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) run at the 2015 Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). of the 2015 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; Bottcher advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-4 win over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2015 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Bottcher finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) 11-5, then went on to lose 8-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Bottcher responded with a 7-2 win over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI). Bottcher went on to lose 5-4 against Gushue. Bottcher responded with a 5-3 win over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
