Advancing directly to the semifinals, Jacobs won 6-5 over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2015 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; of the 2015 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Jacobs finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) 7-1, then won 10-5 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON). Jacobs went on to lose 5-4 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Jacobs responded with a 5-4 win over Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Jacobs won 7-3 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Players' Championship Championship title, Jacobs earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 27 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jacobs ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 244.000 points earned so far this season.
