Sigfridsson finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sigfridsson defeated Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) 10-1, then won 9-1 against Imogen Oona Lehmann (Fuessen, GER) and 6-4 against Melanie Barbezat (Biel, SUI). Sigfridsson won 9-2 against Lauren Gray (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Stockholm Ladies Cup Championship title, Sigfridsson earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $15,347CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 3rd place overall with 201.845 total points.
