Homan went on to lose 8-2 against Feltscher. Homan responded with a 8-2 win over Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Homan won 9-3 against Allison Pottinger (St. Paul, USA), then won 8-4 against Evita Regza (Riga, LAT) and 8-3 against Kerry Barr (Edinburgh, SCO). Homan won 7-5 against Imogen Oona Lehmann (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, GER), then won 10-3 against Ji-Sun Kim (Gyeong gi do, KOR) and 6-4 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Homan won 9-6 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Harnosand, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Ford World Women's Curling Championship, Homan take home 35.000 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 411.820 total points.
