Brown are currently 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Motohashi 5-1, then won 5-4 against Julie Herndier (Kitsilano, BC) and 6-3 against LeAnne Andrews (New Westminster, BC). In their next game, Brown plays.
 
For winning the Coronation Business Group Ladies Classic Championship title, Brown earned 3.000 world rankings points along with the $2,800CDN first prize cheque, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 79th place overall with 10.030 total points. Brown ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.830 points earned so far this season.
