Koe won 9-1 against Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS), then won 10-6 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE) and 7-4 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, USA). Koe went on to lose 9-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (Snaroen, NOR). Koe responded with a 8-4 win over Peter de Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Koe went on to lose 6-2 against Oskar Eriksson (Lit, SWE). Koe responded with a 11-5 win over Johnny Jahr (Hamburg, GER). Koe won 7-5 against Ewan MacDonald (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Koe earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the World Curling Championship, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.4 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 206.000 points earned so far this season.
