Oskar Eriksson (Lit, SWE) lost 8-3 to Thomas Ulsrud (Snaroen, NOR) in the Final of the World Curling Championship, held March 29 - April 6, 2014 in Beijing, China.
 
Eriksson finished 7-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eriksson defeated Ewan MacDonald (Perth, SCO) 8-4, then won 8-6 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, USA). Eriksson went on to lose 7-5 against Johnny Jahr (Hamburg, GER). Eriksson lost 6-3 to Ulsrud where Eriksson responded with a 7-6 win over Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS). Eriksson went on to lose 5-3 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE). Eriksson responded with a 9-4 win over Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Eriksson went on to lose 8-6 against Peter de Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Eriksson responded with a 6-2 win over Kevin Koe (Edmonton, CAN). Eriksson won 11-4 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN), then won 6-5 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the World Curling Championship, Eriksson take home 35.000 world rankings points. Eriksson move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 31.1 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 172.801 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
