Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2014 Point Optical Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2014 Point Optical Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Koe finished 4-2 in the 26-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Robert Schlender (Edmonton, AB) 8-1, then won 5-3 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Koe went on to lose 6-3 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Koe lost 5-3 to Clint Dieno (Saskatoon, SK) where Koe responded with a 6-1 win over Schlender. Koe won 7-4 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Koe earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Point Optical Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 7th place overall with 156.325 total points. Koe ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.000 points earned so far this season.
