Daylan Vavrek (Grande Prairie, AB) run at the 2014 WFG Alberta Junior Tour Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Alberta's Carter Lautner.
 
Vavrek finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vavrek lost 9-3 to Alberta's Michael Roy, droppimg another game, 4-3 to Alberta's Jeremy Harty where Vavrek responded with a 7-5 win over Alberta's Colin Harty. Vavrek won 7-3 against Kenton Maschmeyer (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
