Tirinzoni finished 3-1 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Ontario's Clancy Grandy 5-2, then won 10-3 against Ontario's Courtney de Winter and 5-2 against Megan Balsdon (Toronto, ON). Tirinzoni went on to lose 6-5 against Nicol in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 21.960 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 152.525 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.960 points earned so far this season.
