Greg Balsdon (Hamilton, ON) won 9-8 over Ontario's Don Bowser in the Final of the Glendale Cash Spiel, held October 31 - November 2, 2014 in Hamilton, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Balsdon won 6-4 over Chris Glibota (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2014 Glendale Cash Spiel in Hamilton, Ontario; and won 1-0 over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Glendale Cash Spiel in Hamilton, Ontario;
 
Balsdon finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Balsdon defeated Ontario's Todd Brandwood 1-0, then won 6-3 against Damien Villard (Galt, ON). Balsdon went on to lose 8-5 against Ontario's Nick Rizzo. Balsdon responded with a 9-8 win over Ontario's Nathan Martin in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Glendale Cash Spiel Championship title, Balsdon earned 4.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 71.350 total points. Balsdon ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.700 points earned so far this season.
