Kolomaya won 6-2 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB), then won 9-6 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kolomaya earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Men's Classic, moving up 153 spots the World Ranking Standings into 72nd place overall with 16.400 total points. Kolomaya ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.425 points earned so far this season.
