McArdle went on to lose 8-6 against Jim Cotter (Kelowna/Vernon, BC). McArdle responded with a 5-4 win over Plys in their final qualifying round match.
 
McArdle earned 2.985 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, moving up 46 spots the World Ranking Standings into 145th place overall with 5.208 total points.
