Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) qualified for the 2014 Canad Inns Women's Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE). of the 2014 Canad Inns Women's Classic in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada;

Ogasawara finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ogasawara defeated Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) 5-2, then went on to lose 6-2 against Jill Thurston (Winnipeg, MB). Ogasawara responded with a 10-4 win over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB). Ogasawara won 8-3 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-7 against Michele Jaggi (Berne, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
