Dangerfield won 6-2 against Stephen Schneider (Vancouver, BC), then won 9-2 against Brent Pierce (Kelowna , BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Dangerfield earned 1.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Vancouver Island Shootout, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 192nd place overall with 3.750 total points. Dangerfield ranks 100th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.750 points earned so far this season.
