Wark finished 4-1 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wark defeated Yukon's Sarah Koltun 6-5, then won 11-2 against Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC) and 6-4 against Dailene Sivertson (Victoria , BC). Wark went on to lose 7-3 against Stephanie Prinse (Surrey, BC). Wark responded with a 6-5 win over Gushulak in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Vancouver Island Shootout Championship title, Wark earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $2,600CDN first prize cheque. For week 13 of the event schedule, Wark did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 165th to 167th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 1.925 total points. Wark ranks 106th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.925 points earned so far this season.
