Bottcher responded with a 5-2 win over Robert Schlender (Edmonton, AB). Bottcher won 6-2 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Bottcher earned 5.115 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic, remaining in 25th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 54.269 total points.
