Rob Houston (Uxbridge, ON) won 5-4 over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in the Final of the Tim Hortons Scugog Cup Cash Spiel, held November 28 - 30, 2014 at the Port Perry Community Curling Club in Port Perry, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Houston won 6-3 over Jon St. Denis (Stouffville, ON) in the semifinals
 
Houston finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Houston defeated Jim Bell (Toronto, ON) 4-3, then won 5-3 against Dave Fischer (Oshawa, ON) and 8-3 against Nathan Martin (Oshawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Tim Hortons Scugog Cup Cash Spiel Championship title, Houston earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 73 spots the World Ranking Standings into 204th place overall with 3.500 total points. Houston ranks 145th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
