7-2 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS), droppimg another game, 6-5 to Japan's Rina Ida where Motohashi responded with a 8-1 win over Touri Koana (Yamanashi, JPN). Motohashi won 4-3 against Korea's Ji Suk Kim. Motohashi went on to lose 8-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
